Out of the Easy

I don't know if it was the mood I was in when I read this or not, but I had trouble connecting. The writing was lovely, certainly, but I felt the mystery was mishandled a little and while I appreciated the main character's arc, I wasn't overly wild about the romance either. Still, I did finish it in one day, so that's something.
